🌱Currency is IDR

Bali, like the rest of Indonesia, uses the Indonesian rupiah. The exchange rate can vary, but on average, it’s about 15,000 rupias for one dollar. While most foreign ATMs and credit cards are accepted here, it’s always a good idea to carry some cash with you

🌱Wi-Fi is available in all our rooms and villas

🌱 Bali is a tropical paradise, so you can expect to see a variety of insects, including mosquitoes, spiders, butterflies, geckos, and more. It’s all part of the natural ecosystem here.

🌱 Do I Need A Visa?

Indonesia has a free 30-day tourist visa available for most countries, be sure to check yours.

🌱 Passport?

If your passport is due to expire within 6 months, we advise you to renew. You should also be able to demonstrate an outbound flight from Indonesia and have at least two blank pages in your passport.

🌱 Temples & Ceremonies

When entering temples you must be respectful and have your shoulders covered and wear a sarong (for men and women) – usually, sarongs are provided for you when you visit a temple. The Balinese welcome you to their ceremonies, but you must dress appropriately.

🌱To secure your spot you must submit a $500.00pp non- refundable,non- transferable, non-negotiable deposit. Travel Insurance is a must. I recommend Tarwick International Travel Insurance.

Full refund (less $500.00 non refundable deposit) will be granted if canceling within 30 days of receipt of deposit booking date. Payments are due the 15th of each month. Late payments will be charged a 10% late fee.  50% refund of total paid (less $500.00 non refundable deposit) if canceling within 6 month of receipt of deposit.  NO REFUNDS will be granted after 6 months of original deposit date. Sorry, there are no exceptions. You may transfer your spot to a friend or family member if you are unable to attend if notified within 30 days of departure date less a $180.00 transfer fee.

🌱 What Should I Pack?

Bali is hot so think light and layers. For your stay, all you really need is flip flops and shorts, yoga clothes, a sarong, and bathing suits. 

Seed & Rooted encourages you to connect with the earth and ground down while at the resort where barefoot living is all the rave. We encourage you to let go, be yourself, to be comfortable and free for the duration of the retreat. Yoga clothes and a few light summer outfits are all you need along with comfortable walking shoes for excursions and a sun hat.

I love a good theme night. I will share a theme or color scheme outfit to pack for one of the nights. 🦋

Don’t forget medications, anti nausea and anti diarrhea medicines.

🌱Flying from NYC to Bali is approximately a 20 hour flight. Please pack appropriate medication, feminine products and personal items.
